Trip to Denver

The three of us flew to Denver to visit Nana and Pop in their new home for the first time. It was an eventful few days and we had tons of fun checking out the place. Believe it or not, Blake and I came home on Tuesday and Tripp is staying there for a week to keep Nana and Pop company for a while. It's been a rough few days for us being home without him, but we've been taking advantage of our time together as much as possible. He also has plans to stay in Oklahoma for a week in May so he's going to be quite the traveler before the summer is over. Here are some of the highlights from the first part of his trip... to be continued with the last half once he's home.

The flight was difficult to say the least... wouldn't eat, wouldn't sleep, and coundn't seem to get comfortable. Although you wouldn't know it by these pics, Tripp wasn't much of a fan.

While we were in Denver, we went to see our friend's Cynthia, Doug, and their daughter Teagan. We took the kid to the park across the street and Tripp played on a swing set for the first time. He thought it was the greatest thing ever!

We also did a little shopping while we were in town and Tripp scored his first pair of sunglasses. At first he didn't want to keep them on (he naturally wanted to eat them), but once he figured them out he thought he was the coolest kid in town with them on :)

Happy Easter

We went to see the Easter Bunny on Saturday and Tripp LOVED him! While we were in line he had a really hard time waiting his turn and was yelling and reaching for him when we were still a few people back. He was so excited to finally get to sit on his lap...

Then, the Easter Bunny came to see us on Sunday morning. We woke up bright and early to find the eggs he left and Tripp had a blast! His favorite part was trying to eat the grass in the basket.

Later in the day, we went to have lunch with friends and play for a little while. This is Tripp with his little friend Charlee celebrating the holiday

Pulling Up on Everything

Tripp figured out how to pull himself up in his crib this week and thats pretty much all he's wanted to do since then. This first picture is the face we greeted when we went to get him out of bed bright and early last Sunday. The others are a few more from this week. He's crawling all over the place now and is into everything!!

Good Morning!!

We worked really hard on this outfit

Check out those legs :)
