Baby Einstein's Biggest Fan

Tripp has been staying with his Nana for the past several weeks during the day and the two of them have found something new to keep him entertained. He LOVES Baby Einstein!! We got out his bouncer a couple weeks ago and have started showing him the DVD's from time to time. We have also learned that the CD's come in very handy for a long car ride when he loses his paci and starts to panic a little... yes, we are those parents already - driving down the highway singing lullabies when we were swearing just a few month ago that we would NEVER do that. Funny how things change, isn't it?

Weekend with Nana & Pop

Over this past weekend, Pop came up to see us and spend some time with Tripp. While he was here, he and Nana took Tripp back to the apple orchard and had some fun.

Bathtime

Believe it or not, Tripp went through all 4 stages of his 4 stage infant bath in just 11 short weeks. For a week now, he's been bathing in the big boy bathtub and he LOVES it!! He's starting to play a little more and is really enjoying his bathtime so far.

Favorite New Gadget

So we realized this week that Tripp can now sit in the bumbo and it has become our favorite new gadget! He loves to hang out with us in it no matter what were doing... cooking dinner in the kitchen, watching TV in the living room, or even in the mornings when were getting ready for work if he's awake. Here are a few pictures of him Thursday morning sitting on the vanity with Mom while she was getting ready for work. He was in such a good mood - we were having tons of fun!

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we made our first trip to Edward's Apple Orchard. We picked our own raspberries and a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch to get in the fall spirit. Tripp had a great time and loved being outside.

First Full Week of Daycare

Last week was Tripp's first full week of Daycare. He stayed with Emily all week and the two of them got to know one another a little before Emily welcomes her little girl Charlee sometime in the next few weeks. Since Charlee could be here anytime, Nana Thomas is now in town to stay with the little guy for the time being. Here are a few pictures of Tripp playing at daycare...

Big Boy!

Tripp went to the doctor on Tuesday for his 2 month appointment. He measured 23 1/2 inches and weighed 15lbs 11oz putting him in the 99th percentile! We were so shocked... we knew he was big, but didn't realize how big! He also had to get his first round of shots which he wasn't too excited about, but he was over it in no time.
